The extension is at the rear of a Listed Historic Villa in Arbroath, and aims to create a new large open plan kitchen/dining/living space at the rear of the property.

Visually the new extension is simple and sympathetic to the existing listed building, and takes the form of a shallow pitched roof with extensive glazing at the North side. This allows for views and access to the private garden at the back of the house. New bifold doors will create further connection to the outside allowing the new space to be ‘opened up’ to the garden. A large roof lantern is positioned centrally above the dining area to let lots of light flood into this space.

The new wall finish is a white render, which will be extended to the existing house.
